- What motivated you to become a maker?
I actually stumbled into design on accident. Luckily I was good at it (and enjoyed it), but it wasn’t my first career choice.
- Looking back on the early stages of your journey, what advice would you give yourself now?
Asking for help is okay if you don’t know how to do something. There is no shame in learning late.
- What is your favorite thing you’ve ever made? Why?
I made a book about abandoned houses for one of my classes. I took all of the photographs and I wrote the story/poetry inside, I really like it.
- What’s the next evolution for you (or your industry) going to look like?
This is a hard question... personally, I’m not sure where I’m headed. But graphic design as a whole, that is also tricky to me. There are so many different styles and mediums for design that are still used, print to digital. I can’t offer a solid answer, but I’m excited to see where it all goes as well.
- Who would you partner with (living or dead) for your dream collaboration? And what would you work on together?
There are so many choices! I honestly would love to collaborate with Gabby Ramirez to create a story about her space babes!
- You're on death row and it's time for your final meal. What'll ya have?
Hayashi rice made by Nami because her recipes are amazing!
- In a world where you have two hands, all of your pets and loved ones are safe, and your studio is on fire, what do you try to save?
I’d save as much of my limited edition Destiny 2 items as I could.
- What is one piece of pop culture (movie, tv, artwork, song, etc.) that no matter how many times you return to it you still draw excitement, movement, or inspiration?

You’re more likely die from a lightening strike than being killed by a shark.
- If you could try any profession other than your own, what would you choose to do?
I’d love to try out illustration or writing. I’ve dabbled in both a little, but it’d be fun to study it more.
- What is your personal strategy/philosophy when it comes to using social media for your work?
At this point in our lives, it’s essential. I think a lot of people need to not focus on the likes and just do it for fun.
